ITINERARY

DAY 1: HANOI CITY TOUR ( - /LUNCH/ - ) 

08h00-08h20: We will pick you up from your hotel in Hanoi Old Quarter or Hanoi Opera House. In the morning, we will visit:

  • Tran Quoc Pagoda located on an east side isle of the West Lake (Tay Ho district), It is considered as the most ancient pagoda in Thang Long – Ha Noi with its historical progression in 1500 years. It has a harmonious combination between the majesty, hoariness architecture and peaceful landscape of the West Lake. From the period in the Ly and Tran dynasties, it had become the Buddhist center of Thang Long.

  • Visit the complex of president Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum (Mausoleum and Stilt house) - Where the great leader lived and worked until the last years of his life. Here, you will have the opportunity to learn about Uncle Ho's simple life. In addition, you will stop by One Pillar Pagoda to admire one of the 4 symbols of Hanoi.

Note: with departure days on Monday and Friday, Mausoleum Management Board will carry out maintenance of the mausoleum, you will visit only outside of Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum, stilt house and One Pillar Pagoda.

  • The Imperial Academy - the first university in Vietnam. Literature lake, Khue Van Pavilion, stele house... are valuable highlight objects that you cannot ignore. The tour guide will tell you about of 82 doctor stele stones with names of 1306 people standing until nowadays

Noon: Return to the Old Quarter to have lunch at the restaurant. After lunch, you will see 36 streets from the car and listen to the guide tell stories about the streets of the ancient urban marketplace.

Afternoon: We will visit:

  • If your departure day is on Monday or Friday, Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum is closed, the car will take you to visit the Bat Trang Pottery Village - one of the 2 famous pottery villages of Hanoi. Here you will learn about the history and origin of the village, pottery making process and special features which make Bat Trang brand famous.

  • If your departure day is on Sunday, Tuesday, Wednesday , Thursday or Saturday. The car continues to take you to the Museum of Ethnology, which keeps and displays many cultural artifacts of all 54 ethnic groups in Vietnam.

  • Hoan Kiem lake (Sword lake) - center of Hanoi with Turtle tower, Ngoc Son Temple, furthermore, you could discover the Vietnamese traditional and French colonial architecture through buildings surrounding the lake.

16h00: End of Hanoi City tour, the car will take you back to the hotel in the Old Quarter or you can rent a cyclo around the Old Quarter and Sword Lake at your own expense. water puppet show... (performance schedule may change depending on the specific period). Or the bus takes you to the hotel to check in and rest. Have dinner at your own expense to explore Hanoi Old Quarter cuisine. 

In the evening, you are free to walk and explore the Old Quarter at night. Overnight in Hanoi.

DAY 2: HANOI - NINH BINH - HANOI (BREAKFAST / LUNCH / - )

07h00-07h30: We pick you up at your hotel, departure for Bai Dinh - Trang An, enjoying the beautiful sceneries of the rural areas on the way.

10h30: Arrival Bai Dinh Pagoda, the guide takes you to visit Bai Dinh Pagoda - the biggest pagoda in Vietnam with 500 La Han statues, biggest pagoda in Vietnam with 500 La Han statues, biggest bronze Buddha statue in Vietnam with 10 meters in height, 100 tons in weight. You will visit Bai Dinh pagoda.

12h30: Have lunch in a local restaurant with some local special dishes such as goat meat with elderberry, pork storage vessel before we visit Trang An.

14h00: Depart to visit Trang An Eco-Tourism attraction, there is beautiful scenery landscape, you will boarding a small boat to visit Trang An, you will see majestic limestone cliffs and mysterious yet inviting caves, as well as countryside sights, like peaceful streams, rice paddies and deserted green fields. Take a boat trip to visit cave complexes: Sang Cave, Toi Cave, Ba Giot Cave, Nau Ruou in mystery and wildness, see scenery of mountain and rivers Ha Long on land of Ninh Binh.

16h30: Getting on the car back to Hanoi. The Ninh Binh tour finishes at Hanoi around 19h30.

19h00: Return to Hanoi. Check in at the hotel to rest. Have dinner at your own expense to explore Hanoi Old Quarter cuisine at night. In the evening, you are free to walk and explore the Old Quarter at night. Overnight in Hanoi.

DAY 3: HANOI - HALONG BAY (BREAKFAST/LUNCH/DINNER)

08h00-08h30: Picking up from the hotel (in Hanoi Old Quarter area) and departing for Halong, stop over for a rest on the way.

11h30-12h00: Arrive HaLong Harbor, welcome aboard, and safety briefing. The cruise will take you on a 5 hour journey via 2 day-sleeper boat cruise route which renowned for its striking, passages uninhabited islets and outcrops have been given imaginative names by the locals, due to their perceived shapes, including Cock Fighting and Thumb, while enjoy Vietnamese mouth-watering lunch on boat.

13h45-14h00: Arrive Bo Hon archipelago, you will visit Surprising Cave to see a lot of stalagmites and stalactites with different shapes of sea lives, then go kayaking or bamboo boat in Luon Cave to discover the beautiful lagoon. Visit Titov Island with sandy beach adjacent to the towering limestone mountain with excellent backdrop of the Bay and climb up Titov Peak for a panoramic view of the bay like paradise.

16h30: Return the Cruise back toward the Harbor. There is a lot of time for sunbathing on the upper deck with music, enjoy great fun of group touring fellows among world iconic natural scenery.

17h30-18h00: Disembark for a bus ride to your hotel in Halong, short break on the way.

19h00: Dinner. Evening free to explore Night Market, Food Street... Overnight in Ha Long.

DAY 4: HALONG PARK - HANOI (BREAKFAST/LUNCH/DINNER)

07h00: Breakfast at the hotel. After that, you are free to play at the complex of Ha Long Park with many attractive amusement parks (note: tickets to the parks are self-sufficient):

  1. The Queen Cable Car and the giant Sunwheel on the mysterious hill

  2. Dragon park with adventure games such as roller coaster, ferris wheel...

  3. Typhoon water park with attractive water-related games

11h30: Check out of the hotel, have lunch, then get on the bus back to Hanoi.

17h00: The tour in Halong ends, You arrive in Hanoi. Check in at the hotel to rest. Have dinner at your own expense to explore Hanoi Old Quarter cuisine at night. In the evening, you are free to walk and explore the Old Quarter at night. Overnight in Hanoi.

DAY 5: HANOI - SAPA - CAT CAT VILLAGE (BREAKFAST/LUNCH/DINNER)

06.20: Our sleeping bus will pick you at the address on Tran Quang Khai street and depart to Sapa following Noi Bai - Lao Cai highway. Along the way, you will have a chance to enjoy the beauty of northwestern mountains, terraced fields sparkling in sunlight or dim in thick fog. Have two short-breaks in 30 minutes for each and then continue the trip to Sapa.

13.00-13.30: Arrive in Sapa, eat lunch and check in at the hotel. 

14.30: You will start hiking to Cat Cat Village which is occupied by the Black H’mong tribe. Here, you can see the hydroelectric power station which was built by the French in the twentieth century. You will experience the tribal way of life of ethnic minorities while enjoying wonderful views of the terraced rice paddy fields and the waterfall in Cat Cat village. Visitors will also understand culture, unique customs, traditional crafts such as weaving, touching carved silver, forged agricultural tools...  Come back to the hotel.

18h30: Having dinner. After dinner, you are free to explore the charm of Sapa by night, enjoy roasted corn, baked eggs beside charcoal fire or go shopping. Especially on Saturday night, we highly recommend a stop at the Love Market - one of the unique cultures of ethenic minorities in northwest Vietnam. Overnight at a hotel in Sapa.

DAY 6: SAPA - FANSIPAN MOUNTAIN - HANOI ( REAKFAST/ LUNCH/ - )

07.00: Eat breakfast in the hotel.

08.00: Car and tour guide take you to Fansipan Cable Car Station to start the journey to conquer Fansipan with the world's most modern 3-wire cable car system with a cabin that can accommodate up to 30 visitors. Then continue conquering to the top of Fansipan at 3.143m higher from sea-level, the roof of Indochina.

11.30: Back to Sapa, eat lunch and rest.

13.00: Get on the bus and go back to Hanoi.

19.30: Arrive Hanoi. Tour ends. See you again!

Important note: With any age, if the child is taller than 120cm must be charged 100% price as an adult for the tickets of sightseeing boat in Ha Long or cable car in Sapa
