Recognizing the evolving needs of its burgeoning tourism sector, the Ham Tien Ward People's Committee has taken a decisive step by establishing the Coastal Tourism Safety Team. This isn't just a reactive measure; it's a proactive commitment to maintaining the ward's reputation as a safe, friendly, and trustworthy destination. The team, a force of 31 dedicated individuals, is a carefully curated blend of local expertise, comprising experienced police officers, grassroots security personnel, and representatives from the tourism establishments that line the coast.

Their mission is clear: to provide an "express response" to any situation that could potentially disrupt the tranquility of Ham Tien's coastal experience. This includes vigilant patrols along the scenic sea route, deterring criminal activity, and swiftly addressing any violations of the law. Beyond security, the team is also trained in fire prevention, firefighting, and rescue operations, ensuring they are equipped to handle any emergency that may arise.

Mr. Nguyen Nam Long, Vice Chairman of Phan Thiet City People's Committee, underscored the significance of this initiative, stating, "This team is a testament to our commitment to creating a secure and welcoming environment for our visitors. They are always ready to combat crime and participate in rescue efforts, aligning with the aspirations of our residents and tourism businesses."
